User Accounts

Airshot user accounts explained.

An Airshot user can create an account in two ways:

1. By signing up and creating a profile on the app.

2. By creating/activating their account when being invited to the app.

When a user signs up to your app, they are signing up to the Airshot platform and, when doing so, they create a Airshot account. This prevents a user who is using multiple Airshot apps from needing to create more than one account.

Another way to think about this is the following:

1. You create an Apple ID with Apple.

2. You use this account to download and use apps.

3. Your account is with Apple, not the app.

Airshot is similar in that:

1. You create an account with Airshot.

2. You use this account to sign in to public Airshot apps and/or apps you have been invited to.

3. Your account is with Airshot, not a single app.

Grouping allows Broadcasters to enable access to specific apps or specific content.
